Since the writers of City of Spies were unable to make it to the May 1st event we’re having another release party. It’ll be held on Thursday June 3rd, from 7-9pm at the MoCCA Museum in Manhattan.

Books will be signed, drinks will be served, and fun will be had. All are welcome, so if you’re around and have nothing to do on June 3rd, swing on by.

On Saturday May 1rst, Bergen Street Comics in Brooklyn will be hosting a slam-bang book release party for a whole slew of new books published by First Second, including City of Spies, which I will be on hand to sign. Also signing their books will be Mike Cavallaro (Foiled), George O’Connor (The Olympians), and Leland Purvis (Resistance).

Plus there will be games and activities for kids, free comics (for Free Comic Book Day, none of the books being signed are being given away though), refreshments after 7, and if you buy one of the books we’re signing you could win the original black and white art for the poster above (drawn by Mike, George, Leland and me).

Saturday, April 10, from 11-12:30, Susan Kim, Laurence Klavan (the writers of City of Spies), and I will be at the First Second booth at the MoCCA Festival in New York City, scrawling our names upon any copies of City of Spies that are proffered up. So if you’re at MoCCA and would enjoy buying a copy of my book, only to have it defaced seconds later with illegible name-like scribbles and potentially a sketch, swing on by.

And if you miss the book signing, I’ll probably be wandering around the convention floor for most of the weekend (or at the very least most of Saturday), so hopefully I’ll see some of you folks I know there.
