I’ve made some tweaks to the way the website looks, most notably on the main blog page, moving the sidebar down to the bottom where it distracts from the actual content less, and allows me to present the images at a larger size up front.

If you run into any wonkiness please leave a comment to let me know.

I’ve just updated the blog header so that it’s a random image every time the page loads. Whoo, exciting, I know…

The real reason I’m dedicating a whole post to this is because many of the images are from my upcoming book, which means they’re not colored by me. Hilary Sycamore is the colorist, and she’s done a great job – I figured the least I could do is acknowledge her contribution if I’m going to be displaying some of her handiwork.

As my regular visitors have probably noticed, I’ve changed the design of the site a bit. It’s mostly cosmetic so everything should still work the same, but if you do find something that doesn’t work please let me know.

While I was at it, I made this blog be the homepage (which means no extra clicking before you see content, yay!), and got rid of the “Sketches” section (since the blog made it redundant anyways).

I still might tweak it some (I’m not sure about the bright yellow sidebar for instance), but for now it is what it is…

I’d appreciate people’s thought on the new design, if they have any.

Just a couple minor updates this week, I’ve made some changes to the Comics section, grouping all the short two page comics on to one page. Also I’ve switched the comics over to my new gallery system which hopefully makes them easier to navigate through.

I’ve also added my “Emma Maloane: Ghost Hunter” comic to the site, you can find it on the short comics page, here.

Also, while I was uploading the new pages I noticed that for some reason many of the pages wouldn’t load consistently, (I’d get “Page Not Found” errors, etc.), which I think might have something to do with maintenance that my web host is doing on the server side. So if a page doesn’t load completely/at all, try reloading a couple times and it should fix the problem… If the problem persists please let me know so I can contact my web host and sort things out…

I’ve tweaked various bits of the website so hopefully everything should work better.
One of the main changes is to the gallery system, I’ve modified how images are displayed. What are people’s thoughts on this? Did you prefer the old version (the images would open in an overlay over the page)? Does the new version totally suck? If anyone ever reads this I’d appreciate any feed back.

I’ve also added a couple new/modified images to the Illustration gallery.
