Since the writers of City of Spies were unable to make it to the May 1st event we’re having another release party. It’ll be held on Thursday June 3rd, from 7-9pm at the MoCCA Museum in Manhattan.

Books will be signed, drinks will be served, and fun will be had. All are welcome, so if you’re around and have nothing to do on June 3rd, swing on by.

I’m pretty happy with the walking pose (something I feel I occasionally have problems with drawing) I got on this, it’s subtle but there’s still plenty of movement (at least to my eye).

Some quick sketches from life. I’ve started doing this weekly with a friend (Conor Hughes), so I might be posting this sort of stuff semi-regularly from now on. Or maybe not. We’ll see how it goes…

Susan Kim, Laurence Klavan (the writers of City of Spies) and I were recently interviewed via email by Comic Book Resources and it was just posted today. You can read it here.

It’s sort of weird and surreal (but cool) to be featured on a website that I’ve been visiting for years.

My first book City of Spies is officially out today!

If you haven’t already pre-ordered a copy, you can grab a copy online from, among many other places, Barnes and Noble, Powell’s Books, Borders, Amazon, or direct from Macmillan. Or if online shopping isn’t your bag, you should also be able to find it at your favorite brick and mortar book/comics store.

Also, a reminder, if you’re in the New York area you can come celebrate the release with me this Saturday at Bergen Street Comics. (See the previous post for more details).
